Ingredients
Coconut Shrimp
- 1 lb large shrimp (16–20 count), peeled and deveined, tails on
- 1 tbsp Shoreline Citrus Dust
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Breading Station
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp Shoreline Citrus Dust
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
- ¾ cup panko breadcrumbs
For Frying
- Neutral oil (vegetable or peanut)
Coconut Cream Citrus Sauce
- 1 cup full-fat coconut milk, shaken
- ¼ cup coconut cream (optional for extra richness)
- 1 tbsp Shoreline Citrus Dust
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1–2 tbsp honey (to taste)
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp salt
Directions
1. Season the Shrimp
Pat shrimp dry and toss with Shoreline Citrus Dust, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

2. Prepare the Breading Station
Set up three bowls: flour mixed with Shoreline Citrus Dust, eggs whisked with water, and a mixture of shredded coconut and panko.
Dredge each shrimp in flour, dip into egg wash, then press into the coconut mixture until fully coated.
3. Fry the Shrimp
Heat oil to 350°F. Fry shrimp in batches for 2–3 minutes, turning once, until golden brown and crispy. Transfer to a wire rack or paper towels. For extra flavor, lightly dust with Shoreline Citrus Dust immediately after frying.

4. Make the Coconut Cream Sauce
In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, whisk together coconut milk, coconut cream, Shoreline Citrus Dust, lime juice, honey, garlic powder, and salt.
Simmer gently for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly before serving.
How to Serve
- Drizzle: Spoon warm coconut cream sauce over the shrimp just before serving.
- Dip: Serve sauce on the side for dipping.
Garnish with lime zest, chopped cilantro, or toasted coconut flakes for a true beachside finish.
